Got my MINI wrapped Matte White!

I've finally decided to do it. I dropped my car off on Tuesday to the guys at Extreme Autowerks in Cerritos, CA. The price they gave me for a custom ordered vinyl ended up being under $2,000.
Here's the list of what exactly is going to happen to my PW/PW 2011 MINI Cooper S, named Pip.

-Oracal 970RA Matte White body
-Hexix Matte Black roof/mirrors
-Black and white taillight mod
-Replace silver in custom headlights with white
-Matte white scuttle inserts with black "S" letters
-Rear wiper delete
-De-badge the front
-Remove "Cooper" from rear and replace with just a black "S"
-Plasti-dip: Taillight rings, headlight rings, grille chrome, gas cap, reflectors
-Black vinyl beltline
-Black door handles
-Black hood scoop
-Tint side and rear windows
-Open closed off holes in hood scoop grille
-White **** carpet floor mats (for that fun factor)
-Sweet outdoor car cover

I'm still going to paint the exhaust gloss black and I have to put the rear "S" on the back still. I've also painted the washer jets matte white but took the pictures before I did that.

I wanted to switch to the aero front bumper but another $600 for it didn't make sense.

I had Extreme Motorwerks wrap the car but I did all of the other mods myself, pretty proud of my baby

Check out this thread for how I did my taillights and this thread for how I did my headlights.

Wow! That looks great!! I've seen someone Plastidip their entire MINI White, and it looked pretty worn and beat up. This looks outstanding!
Hope it's easy to keep clean!
Good Job!

Thanks, I'm in love with it. It is going to be a major pain to keep clean. Every time you touch it, it leaves a smudge, if your hands are even slightly dirty it leaves a black fingerprint. Everything that comes off the road leaves a smudge and I've been dusting it off every time I park.

It's easy to clean, you just have to constantly clean it. It's so worth it tho! I'm sure it will be easier to take care of after I've had it for a little while. Right now I'm just paranoid that I'm going to mess it up.

Thanks for all of the great feedback guys! I'm really glad everyone likes it

I would consider lowering it, maybe after I get a tune, some new tires (maybe rims), and a turbo heat shield to protect the vinyl. All I would need are some springs and control arms right?

I really want new rims, especially now that my rear tires are bald and its time to replace them. I just don't want to put in another $1k right now.

Suspension first before anything else, IMO. I learned that the hard way and have always done suspension first on every car. Your car will look 10X better on stock wheels and some low vs new larger wheels and a lot of wheel gap. I really hate that look, it really looks half-a$$ed. Springs can be a good way to go, depends on several things.

Today I painted the two dash pieces behind the tach and the secret compartment. I went matte white with them and I think they look pretty good. I can post pics tomorrow since it's all dark now. They'll look better once I get my new, white floormats made. I want to get rid of the tan headliner so badly, it's totally clashing with my B&W scheme :(

I'm thinking of painting my exhaust tips tomorrow.

Hey, I'd love to go to that! Maybe we can bring some of these other folks who are trying to make a get together happen Saturday. Do you have a page with a little more info like location and time? Also, you meant "tomorrow" as in Saturday right?

Not sure if you have to be a member to attend, it's a great club and well worth the one time membership fee though! This was our first event last year when we bought Winnie, and they all made us feel very welcome. Been motoring with them ever since.

Damn I love this stuff. Doubt anyone in this region has perfected the technique....Id' put up with it too. Definately worth it.

So what do you use to clean / preserve the surface ?

Armor all .

Wonder if Phil at detailers domain has any stuff which might be useful....
