I'm in Canada - I would be interested in doing a write up. My car has Nav, so I could only do the Tach faceplate.

Speedo

Count me in on the Demo install.
The matte black or as mentioned a carbon fiber looking back ground would look so cool !!

Updates:I got a box in the mail on Thursday of last week, installed the tach in about 20 minutes on Friday night, and then did the speedo on Saturday (and then again on Sunday - had a problem with the needle thinking I was doin 30 mph when I was parked... )

I know the guys at OutMotoring want to get going on these as soon as possible, so let them know if you're interested.

As you can see from the above photos, the prototype set went in great and we need just a few minor tweaks and we will have full productions units shipping in hopefully 3-5 weeks...

I think some retro looking ones like what autometer offers would be interesting

Or wood grain to match the english oak dash panels....but i think they would only be popular with the people who have the english oak....oh well :(

How hard is it to get the big speedo apart on the 2011s? I'm totally digging these but don't want to ruin my dash. I would love to see a sort of faded UJ, but would also be interested in the plain black. Or Chili Red. LOL.

I'm a little jealous right now... and only a little because I don't actually have my MINI yet to look at the white speedo face (maybe this weekend?). I plan on switching mine out as soon as they're available.

Any pricing on these yet?

It's different but design wise... It's meh. If you have a PSD or Vector file template, I'd be able to knock out some cool stuff or even open it up to the community

Very interested in the black, but need a price before I can fully commit. Unfortunately budget is tight.:-( They look great, but woult be nice if at some point you could offer a different color for the numbers.

How did you remove and replace the Gen2 needles? I purchased a Gen2 tach to try that task and I could not do it smoothly and still have free pivoting a needle.

I agree.

We should get the vector so that we can make and share our own designs.

I'm OK with meh if it didn't have all the mph hashmarks between the 10s. The only additional info I want vs stock speedo is km/h; otherwise, less is more on my dinner plate.
