I have a3D Design carbon fiber diffuser on order and is scheduled to arrive this Wednesday. I will give you a report when I get it. I ordered mine through Vivid Racing. The diffuser is shipped out of Japan. Takes about three weeks to get it.

No I do not. That is why I was surprised to find a company who manufactured a diffuser for the R56 standard rear bumper.

 

What is it they are replacing?

3D Design offers a front and rear diffuser for the R56, but unfortunately it will replace the JCW pieces. We have a shipment leaving Japan via air freight on Friday. Below is the pricing for the items as well as a package price.

that was wrong they do not supply carbon stuff for the Aero Pkg

 

All of their pieces are for the standard R56 bumpers. The rear diffuser does require some cutting. Fortunately, the template they supply works extremely well. I had no problems with the install. Their front lip replaces the black trim. If I did not already have the NM Engineering carbon fiber front lip, I probably would have bought the 3D front lip.

I've ordered parts from 3D Design. Their work is amazing. You can't go wrong with their CF products.

If you look closely, the diffuser I have on my standard MCS bumper is not the same as what is pictured on the JCW Aero bumper. Two different diffusers.

 

Hence it being called "Performance Remodel"

 

So is it available?

 

I'm sure it is. Just have to find a retailer in North America that can source it. But this is 3D Design we're talking about. So if you're not willing to spend something like $1200 for a diffuser then it's probably not for you.

 

The picture I actually got off the Duell webpage :-P, very close looking to the 3d design, it seems like the bumper was cut to make it fit, maybe the same can be done for the JCW bumper, but I think for the price and amount of work to make it fit, i would rather order the Challenge diffuser, Im actually saving my pennies to get one, and a JCW recaro driver seat

 

Yeah, if you go with the Challenge diffuser, you have to cut the JCW rear as well anyways. Duell and 3D Design are both great companies, but you have to find a distributor to import their parts. I had to order from a company in Canada for the 3D Design quad exhaust diffuser for my previous BMW 335i and it was $1500.

Worth it in the end though, to me that is. To be able to say you're 1 of 4 people in North America to have an original 3D Design diffuser is cool to say the least.

So you're gonna get the rebranded recaro sportster cs seat or the new '12 recaro sport seats? I'll get those eventually.
