Next mod?

Hey guys, i recently purchased my first car which is an 03 MCS and did a couple of minor upgrades (i.e. grill upgrade). As for the rims, I happen to like the 17" factory rims that i have now, but was wondering whether i should whether i should get them painted white, black, or keep them the way they are. any ideas?

i like the color scheme so far! (jealous of your wheel arches!) personally, id either
1. leave the wheels alone
2. get new wheels to "better match a theme" (when you "find" one).

as for other mods, strictly aesthetic, ebay is a sweet place! So is Lowes!
my suggestions:

1. get some blue headlight tint (ebay, $3 worth should do it, 12"x24")
2. paint your headlight rings either black? or, white may be cool!
3. I did "eyelids" with some chrome vinyl wrap on my headlights, makes the mini look Mean!
4. Get the vinyl plugs for your inner door handles (they cover the big holes where they assembled the door)(lowes, about $3)
5. You can always vinyl wrap your interior pieces, go Blue inside and out!
6. If you have a rear fog light, you can use a jumper wire to have it turn on with your running lights
7. I buy these little keychains from ebay (just search for "cooper keychain"). You can get em for $1-$2. You can either stick em on aftermarket bits in your car (inverter, car amp, ect) or, i actually drilled out the center, cut off the top tab, and used 3M tape and stuck one over each of the door lock buttons.
8. ebay also has sweet badges of all sorts, so you can always re-badge, or de-badge your car! Go for Transformers, or Batman, or whatever!

There is a whole nother list for performance mods, so i wont waste forum space on that, unless requested, lol.

From the picture you're showing, I'd say black out the beltline and maybe go body color on the headlight trim rings

Drive it awhile and then decide. Look alot.
I don't think I'd ever paint rims personally but may have them
powder coated by a pro as an option.
Lots of different rim choices. Decide size you are going before
making the choice.
I also like the painted wheel arches.

I like white wheels on your color car. Can't go wrong with silver, either. Black would not be my choice. I've thought about this a lot, because your blue with white is one of my favorite colors for a gen1

Leave the rims the way they are. They look great.
