Clear bra people I have a question reg. the headlights
Hello:
Going to have a clear bra installed on my new Mini.
The guy suggested also doing the headlights. He said it would keep them from pitting or yellowing as long as I own the car.
For those of you who have a clear bra, I'm just wondering...did you also have the headlights done?
Thanks for your input.

I had my headlight done a few months later (actually a diy).
Not noticeable, and has protected the lights from getting blury....
had to use a polishing kit on my wifes car (non mini). So they do work...

I've had them done on all my cars as soon as I buy them. Sure beats having to replace the glass from a chip or break. I also have the door cups and back bumper done in addition to the bonnet and front. Well worth every penny.
I ended up getting my headlights tinted instead. A very light gray tint to kind of even out the overall look of the front. This may not be for you, but in any case I agree with the others, wrap 'em you won't regret it.

I have a clear bra, but did my headlights with Lamin-X...much thicker, self healing and breathable. Worth every penny in my opinion, and you can do different colors along with clear.

Hmmm, not a bad idea 10Zero. Gonna look into that. Thank you for suggesting.
shilhoutte88 has them tinted too. Looks nice.
I would personally stay away from clear bras. MY friend had them installed on his Z, full hood and mirrors and after 1-2 years it started peeling off because of the heat. and it looks like paint is peeling off the car
Had my new mini done as soon as I bought it. The covered the front end, headlights, mirrors, A posts, the concave area at the door handles and the rear hatch deck. Also had the windows tinted. Got it done in Philly at, "Shades of Gray". Awesome shop and outstanding work.
My used MCCS has the 3M bra, no headlight work. I see several pits in the bra so I know that it did its job, those would be paint divots instead. No problems with delamination like AJ mentioned and my scoop melted, as do most, so heat doesnt seem to be the prime factor. Thx to the original owner for having some foresight ................
