Urgent help with part number or name!

Hi everyone I'm Cass
Trying to replace this piece that came off my car. I've no idea how! (maybe carwash) I've looked everywhere and I cannot find a name, I tried to Mini Dealership in my area, and they are relatively useless. They ordered the wrong part twice, and want me to pay for them.

I read everyone suggest RealOEM.com, well I searched...and it's hopeless.
I am posting pictures in hopes someone can help.

Every part, but the part I need are there...this is awful.

Isn't it part 4, the A-pillar trim piece, that you need?

Unfortunately it looks like you're looking for 'roof molding left', #10 on this diagram.
PN 51137032353

That front section is just the front part of the whole side molding. It looks like a separate part, but it's not.

:( Any idea where I can order for cheap?
I've to replace my front window soon, so it'll probably break again when the window guys "fix the window" huh? Along with both pillar trims. Also has anyone tried using custom LED plate lamps? the fixture in mine broke and the other one barely turns on (i dont mind, cops do) so I've to replace. I looked for OEM at first but its 47 dollars for dull yellow bulbs so instead I looked at these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MINI-...Q5fAccessories Any other suggestions other than this? I need fixtures, so I can't just get bulb.

Can't see getting that piece very cheap - shipping will be ugly for something that long. Odds of finding a used one with the clips intact is slim. You can try Way at Way Motor Works for a used OEM lighting assembly.

Here is the part that you are going to need: #10 in the diagram

I am not sure why there are two part numbers listed for both the left and the right moldings, perhaps your dealer will be able to point you towards the appropriate one. See the highlighted area in the image below:

I had to replace both of mine during the ownership of my MINI, and I'd say that you are looking at about 75.00 per drip molding. As others have mentioned, you are unable to purchase the small curved section.

These moldings are extremely easy to remove and re-install, so my best suggestion is that you take them off before having your windshield replaced, so that you are not spending an extra 150.00 extra every time you need your windshield replaced.

Also, a suggestion if you are planning on replacing the a-pillar cover (long black shiny piece next to windshield): purchase new clips when you go to re-install. I've found that they don't hold as well after they have been installed and removed once, which could mean the cover flying off when you are at highway speed.

Best of luck!

-Chase

Not quite sure about price as compared to the dealer, but you could try Pelican Parts.

Try Bavarian Auto (bavauto.com I believe). They are pretty good at having OEM MINI/BMW parts.
