Is there anyone who has installed a GP style spoiler from fubrication on an R56?

Longboard Mini has one, as well as a bunch of other things from Fubrication. I actually saw the spoiler in person last October on Fu's own car. Looked pretty sweet

 

The MINI in Longboard MINI's gallery is an R53 .

I'm searching for pics on an R56.

 

Oops! Serves me right for posting without checking my facts. Figures that the one time I don't check I goof on something

 

I have their R53 wing in CF and love it. The R56 wing is the exact same part. Nothing different and should look the same on that model. The only thing different about mine is i figured out a way to move 3/4" higher. The stock GP hight was never high enough or up the air enough. It is now.

No I didn't take any pics. It is really straight forward though. You pop the side piece on the boot, slide it up until it stop's, mark the two holes for drilling, then drill and install.

Are the neccessary screws included?

 

I might have to seen this one in person before buying. I am not 100% sold over the internet but I would imagine this would look so much better in person.

Kinda reviving and old post but has anyone lately ordered one of these? Also are you ordering them directly from fabrication? Any help would be great! I want to pull the trigger on this as soon as I here a bit more about them.. Cheers!

 

I just emailed them a few weeks ago about ordering one and they were ready to ship. So, I'd say their still making them.

Actually haven't bought one yet. It was late at night when I found it so i emailed but they had responded by morning.

 

Okay cool thanks! I see you can get just the spoiler or the complete kit which comes with a delete kit. What I don't understand is does this come in black already or do we need to paint it? Are you going to buy one or are you still thinking about it? It does really look cool though!

 

Oh, I'm going to buy one. Just a matter of time. I'm wheel/tire shopping at the moment.

That's my highest priority.
