Does the overall tip length matter? And is angled vs. straight purely aesthetic?

 

Length doesnt matter, it's the smaller diameter that matters most.

BTW I have a pair of brand new tips for sale in the classified section.

I finally got rid of the pipe rail and installed 4" double wall angle cut. thanks to this thread for all the great pics and ideas.

First question only changing the tip has any effect to the sound.
Which muffler tip is the best sound?

Second, any tip with this specs will fit?
2.25" Inlet
4.00" Outlet
4.5" Overall Length

Can you offer me a muffler tip please? I don't want black coloured by the way...

Do you have to remove the whole exhaust out to cut and weld new tips in? Or can it be done with the exhaust still on the car?

Hey guys, anyone heard of Flo-Pro before? I found these tips on eBay and they seem like a good price. Just wondering if you think they'll stand the test of time or not. Also, from what i've read on here, the size should work, right? I have an R60-S with the JCW aero kit and will be doing a 2nd cat and resonator delete soon. Would like the tips to look as nice as the exhaust sounds! Thanks!
