Can just the Side Skirts be purchased from MINI USA, or do you need to purchase the entire kit? I am looking for just side skirts to add and want to paint wheel wells and front and rear skirts same color as the body. However, all the kits I've looked at seem to sell front and rear pieces as well. I also like the Orciari kit, but the front is too much for the look I want. Any info or direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

In the UK, primed or painted is the same price. Has anyone tried ordering the skirts already painted? Are part numbers available for the painted parts?

When I was at the dealer (Downtown Mini in Orlando) this past Tuesday for a v36 upgrade, the parts guy told me that the entire aero kit is now available painted.

I've talked to one of the sales reps and they said, slowly but surely, the Aero Kit pieces will come prepainted like the UK. So I'm waiting it out to get the side skirts as well. If you can't wait, I too would recommend Classic MINI.

 

Brian in Parts at Classic MINI advises that BMW sells Aero Kit pieces that are pre-painted in the following colors:Chili Red, British Racing Green, Pure Silver, and Indi Blue. That's it for now. The cost of the complete pre-painted kit is $2,070 MSRP ($870 more that unpainted; and it's only for cars without Park Distance Control (PDC)
