Well I was finally able to score an extra tach so I decided to test fit my guage mounting bracket. What do you think?

The guages mount to the left and above the TACH. The bracket I have is for a MINI with Nav, but it can be modded to fit one without Nav. The bracket is made to use Autometer 2 1/16 guages and mounting cups (there is a slot cut into the bracket to mount the cup).

If I'm interpreting correctly, it's a bracket for the setup with the tach and speedo on the steering column. The auxiliary gauges go in the 9:00, 12:00 and 3:00 positions. Nice work Doug! How sturdy is it? What gauges are you going with?

you are correct Kevin. I plan on using autometer guages but i am only going to run a boost guage. My car does not have the nav but I got the braket for a nav car and my friend got the one for a car with out Nav. I did not make the mount i got if from a friend. It is very sturdy by the way

Doug,
Would be interested in purchasing one of the reg brackets (non Nav). Have you found a place to buy those autometer guages at a decent price? Need a boost, oil pressure and either oil or water Temp.
Let me know,
Craig
