Interior/Exterior Grounding wires with carbon fiber hatch?
Grounding wires with carbon fiber hatch?
Where do you put the grounding wires when you install a carbon fiber hatch?
There is also a ground under the hood to that i dont have hooked up because of my carbon fiber hood. Then 2 that look like they have somthing to do with the defrosters on the hatch, then one more in the hatch that is visable by the roof when you open it. Ive also noticed that my radio is very fuzzy after the hatch install, which makes me think one of these 3 grounds was a part of the radio.
Sorry if this should be in electrical.

it runs up the bonnet arm, then bolts into the hood. On the carbon fiber one, it doesnthave this bolt and i dont think it would ground to carbon fiber anyway. I guess our cars are a little different somehow?
jollyroger is correct, there is a ground on the bonnet. I dont have mine attached either lol.
Sorry I can't help on the hatch, I havent been brave enough to get one because I'm afraid of the fit.

So johnny what did you do with the hood ground? removed it?
Im looking for some serious help with the hatch now because my car's electrical system is all screwed up, check the electrical section to read my post if you want.

Just my WAG.....
I'm guessing...and it is a bit of a WAG, that the hood ground is simply to isolate elecrical noise from the coil/plugs/etc (grounding a metal item makes it turn into a bit of a shield for EMF), and the rear grounds are there to in part provide grounds for the lights/rear defroster. One conection on the rear might be used to connect the radio antannna (fm I read once was embedded in the glass...that is why a "shorty anteana only affects the AM band). Since the intentend use for the CF parts is racing...I'm not sure that you will ever able to make the radio 100% of the way it is before without doing a few mods to it.
