Hello all

I found this Orciari Design Anatomical SeatBack Kit on eBay and wanted to know if anyone out there know more about this kit.

They are asking for $495.00 and I think it is very pricey

and I see no one have bid on this item at all.

here are the links: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

$495 for a seat BACK is definently pricey. One could get an aftermarket race seat for a few bucks more---if that!

I've seen it in person at SEMA on the turbo MCS at BMP/Promini. The quality of all the Oriciari stuff seems top-notch, but the styling and bang-for-buck is not exactly tasteful, IMHO.

For $500, you can buy a VERY nice aftermarket seat.

Aye, but for the safety conscious, you retain your side airbags

I don't really get the point! it's a lot of money for something you can't really see or enjoy unless you're in the back seat, and who wants to ride in the back seat of your own Mini?!

I think those things actually bend the sides of the seat to grip you better. Otherwise, I don't see why they would call them ergonomic.

What I would like to see is more efficient use of space in the seat back pockets. I hesitate to acknowledge them as storage.

Would prefer that thigh support be considered.

Less concerned with the effects of seat behind me.

Direct your attention to the seating surfaces. Acknowledge that :

Yes ..Std seatbacks on 03 build are soft and prone to cutting ski edges.

Note to self..Get hard pdy ski case and dump those long boards and you'll find that shaped skis are much more critical than shaped seat backs.

I must go now and prepare for Reservoir Run. Any Port in a storm I say. Check out the thread and swellthe numbers.

You are more than welcome.

Minihume should you read this ALOHA and please remove you sidecar from your MINI. Please post picture of MINI sidecar on Know Your Mini.

Mahalo to Mr Ferguson for the pleasures of the board/site and many friendships formed and especially his willingnes to endure it all.

My point exactly with regard to the design focusing on whats behind you Not more properly what's under your behind.

Given that they could mold any configuration. How about this?

Given further that no one sits in the back seat.

Further, Given a custom installation of a single Carbon Fiber, seat with a transverse orientation. Feet at one rear window, Head at the other. Feet layed out on the diagnol.

A little luxury Cleopatra Nile Barge snatched from the Bonnet.

I envision almost a Life Pod that could be slid out and stored when Autocross called.

Reinsert the entire device and lounge in the comforts of a booth at Ceasers Palace.

Anyone seeing this. Are you with me.
