Show Me Your Yellow Fogs...

While I've got the bumper off to swap grills, Im thinking of changing the fogs' bulbs to yellow. Looking for opinions and photos... Post 'em if you got 'em.

I've got an IB/W MCS w/ a chrome grill and am trying to imagine what it'll look like w/ that combo.

I tried the bulbs. I found they didnt last very long.

I ended up just putting yellow Lamin-x on the outside lenses. Worked fantastic.

But have since removed the Lamin-x after doing the HID upgrade with an 8000K kit.

I did the Lamin-x, but it made my cutoff pretty soft. So there's no yellow h7 (im guessing thats what the '04 MCS uses) or otherwise that lasts?

Another vote for Nokya Hyper yellow. They are brighter than the stock halogen headlights by far. Work great in bad weather. Always wipe the bulbs with Alcohol before you install them even if new and give it a day to flash off before you try them. You may have not touched them but the guy at the factory might have had a hole in his gloves. Since I have adopted this procedure I have not had a bulb failure.

I tried the Lamin-X, and it made my cutoff pretty fuzzy. I wasn't a huge fan of the yellow glass when the bulb was off either.

** Anyone have photos so I can decide whether or not I want to do this?

Yellow fogs are great... one thing I want to do with my Mini. Had Lamin-X and yellow bulbs on my old 02 WRX and I loved it. Looked great and performed great in in-climate weather as well.
