joey mod xenons

hello everyone. im currently doing the joey mod to my r56 cooper with xenons.

i have the headlights sitting next to me. i took out the two metal clips. and i believe my next step is to debulb and deballast before i put it in the oven. now if im not mistaken, i have removed the screws from the metal piece that seems like the ballast and disconnected that piece completely. i was able to take out the orange signal bulb as well. but im having trouble taking out the xenon bulb, any suggestions? or do i even need to take em out?

You have to reach in with a long small t8 bit i believe and remove a tiny screw under the ring. there is also a very small latch that you have to unclip. There are pics on here somewhere i'll look for them real quick

There are two metal clips that hold the projector ring on top of the lens. You need to apply pressure to both of them and pull the ring off. Then, you take a Torx 8 screwdriver (hard to find) and take the opaque plastic off the projector ring.

YOU CAN DO IT!
