snowboard rack on the trunk/hatch?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there are any universal or car specified hatch racks for snowboard. the ones you kinda just strap onto the trunk (usually sedans).

something like this:

Any good recommendations?

I've never actually seen a snowboard rack that gos on the back. I have the thule roof rack with the snowboard rack on there. I love it... but I dont know if you specifically want the rack for the back hatch.. but if you are interested in the roof mount setup this is what I've got.

The only reason i don't want to get the roof rack is due to the installation process which requires drilling holes, and is permanent. And not like i really can get very far in the snow cause i don't really set my car up for winter

You can get roof racks that dont require drilling. I have a Thule roof rack on my car that I take off in the summer time. I used to use it for my skis, but now my car is just too low to take to the mountain so its only for looks now lol.

Not a strap-on, but MINIFINI, the OEM provider of racks for the Gen 1 MINI, produces the Sportlink II for the Gen 2 cars. Attachments for the Sportlink receptacle include Board/Ski rack, bike rack, towhitch, cargo carrier. Great system. I got that for our Gen 2 car so I could use all of the attachments I have for my Gen 1 car. www.minifini.com

This roof rack is universal and doesn't require any drilling. I think it is what you are looking for www.winterracks.com
