I could not just keep this for myself...

Hi all!

This is my first post and I thought let's start out good... I just bought a 07 MCS, and I'm planning on making it a challenge car over time... Or at least something that rips up the tracks! ( I know, I know we all want that! )

But while I was browsing for some JCW challenge rims i discovered these pieces, they're made by a japanse company which ships to the us for around $25 bucks... The console piece itself goes for $479 and the clocks go for $789 it says on Ebay, so it's a serious investment for our little cars but DAMN does it look good or what?

There you go. Quite expensive if I do say so myself. If anyone wants to sell their chromeline interior, I'd be more then happy to buy it

Yea, they use the same procedure as porsche, ferrari or whatever sportscar company you can think of... So you're def. buying some crazy quality good stuff!!

Can you guys imagine how good this should look with the JCW carbon dash inlays...???

At that prce I'm glad I'm not really into carbon fiber. If I were I'd be broke.

If your going to get something like inner pieces...why carbon fiber? I can understand carbon fiber for exterior pieces for saving weight, performance...etc. But inner pieces, it's just for aesthetics right? Why not just buy some carbon fiber vinyl and wrap the OEM pieces?

It's cool looking I guess but I feel like it would look out of place if it's not the entire dashboard.

IMHO these would make you the laughing stock of your group of friends.

If you want to save weight on the interior of your car, and you're serious about it as a track car, you REMOVE stuff, not replace unnecessary speaker housings with CF versions. There should be no speakers to trim in a track car.

Rip out the door panels if you want to save weight.
