I want to replace the chrome upper grill on my new '09 Cooper to a black one. I want to leave the chrome trim around it for now.

I found this JCW Grill and it indicates that it's an EASY 5-minute swap for the Cooper OR Cooper S.

But what confuses me is that I've read some posts indicating the latest model Cooper and Cooper S are not compatible. But maybe that's just the trim???

Let me know, please!
1) will this fit and be an easy swap with no modifications? (I want to be able to change back if desired)
2) Outmotoring has it for $56 - is this a good price?
3) Feel free to post pics of the same mod if you've done it (and left the chrome trim...I've seen plenty of blacked out trim and headlight rings, etc)

That is where I got my JCW grill for my 07 cooper and it fit fine. I kept the chrome trim also.
