From Paul at Marshall Instruments:"Our wideband A/F uses the same default input range as the Innovate LC-1 controller. If you have the LM-1 you may need to set up the input range according to their instructions. See: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/s...uge_Manual.pdf for details."
Thanks Soggy, I live in Miami where its hot year round. Mine usually runs around 220 (highway and city, occasionally going to 230) till last Monday.
Thanks,
In Miami I'll bet you don't have mountains where extreme load changes take place. Idling in traffic your temperature drops you might feel the fan(radiator) kick on. Mine vibrates so I know when it is on, plus it is noisy.
When we were climbing 4,000 ft mountain passes and carving the corners the temperature dropped to 185 but coasting back down the other side of The Pass the temp went back up to 218.
It seems to take about 20 minutes of city driving, from a cold start, to get to 218. If I idle for long periods in stop & go traffic the temp climbs to 225 before the fan turns on.
I have a question installing the electric oil pressure gauge. The instructions say to make sure the body of the sender is grounded. How exactly do you do that? The "G" terminal connects to the gauge, and it says not to use the other terminal at all. Is the sender grounded by being threaded into the Tapless connector? Is there some other way to ground the body of the sender unit?
Although I took 2 conductors(wires) to the sender location, in case I needed a ground there, I only needed one conductor hooked up to the sender. This is what Paul at Marsall gauges told me to do and it has worked just fine without an extra grounding conductor. I used a very sensitive ohm meter to verify that the body of the sending unit was indeed grounded solidly.
These all look great, I can't wait to get a pair for my car.
Contact Steve at Custom Mini shop and figure out what you need for your installation and really see what your car is doing His contact information is in my signature line.

Judging by his NAM handle, he may already be a customer.
Dr Steve has so many patients that its hard to remember them all. Hopefully those that are local or are able will make it to custom mini shops 5 year anniversary on the 21st of August at 1200.

Yea his website is a little lacking at the moment, hopefully will updated soon
I really wish I would have seen these before I bought my Auxiliary Gauge Kit from MINI. I just ordered these gauges with Oil Pressure and Boost/Vac Gauge from CravenSpeed. I will change out the old gauges I hate the back lighting and no lighted needles, and the voltmeter is lame. Plus Boost is limited at 15psi.

Is that the kit that sets down there by the cigarette lighter? If so, you can alwas use the pod holder there, just put some non-critical gauges there and the stuff you need to see up top
No I bought the kit that goes up on the steering column that includes the boost/vac gauge and voltmeter. I am going to keep the plastic trim piece that holds the gauges from the Aux Kit and place the new Marshall MINI Cooper gauges inside the pods. I will probably sell the old gauges on the marketplace for a wicked discount since I am keeping the plastic trim piece. I did buy the trim piece you are talking about that sits down near the cigarette lighter below the toggle switches. I intend to install the Oil Temp and Voltmeter down there, while I have the Boost/Vac and Oil Pressure beside the tach. I like watch the boost, vroom!
