Interior/Exterior Matching factory gauges
Any update on final pricing?
Also, in looking at the pictures I noticed that the gauges are not labeled with their function as the other SCX gauges are, will this be done with the production units?
Looking forward to getting these installed before the next HPDE.
Cheers,
Tom

I will call Paul at Marshall on Monday for further information on price and gauge details. After I know what's really going to be available and at what cost, I will post a form to fill out. Thanks.

Steve, aren’t the dial faces for the vac/boost gauges the same regardless of whether they’re electric or mechanical? If so, can they produce both versions? I’m asking because I’d rather have the electric version.
Steve
Gauges are ready ...
Hi All:
Thanks for your patience and interest in the Marshall MINI OEM Style gauges. We have started production and will be ready to ship initial orders early next week. Please PM Steve @ Custom MINI Shop with your order - he is organizing the group buy. Initially quantities may be limited as we ramp up production.
Have a great weekend!

Prices?
Paul or Steve - Have final production prices, including senders, been determined yet?
Thanks for all of the work on this. Can't wait to get them installed.
Cheers,
Tom
Are you going to send this form to the membership that has been waiting months for this to happen?
Thanks for any pricing info on my order.
OK, the prices for the group buy are:
Vac/Boost, 30" Hg - 30 PSI (mechanical) $47.50
Oil pressure, 0-100 PSI (electric) $59.50
Oil pressure, 0-100 PSI (stepper) $83.50
Water temperature, 100-260°F (electric) $53.50
Water temperature, 100-260°F (stepper) $77.50
Oil pressure and water temperature gauges include the sending unit with 1/8" NPT connection.
Stepper motor gauges have peak recall and warning functions.
I'm not sure yet if I can get a stepper version of the vac/boost gauge.
The CravenSpeed mounting and adapters are going to be a straight 10% off list price.
Shipping is $10 in the lower 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska and non-USA destinations will be determined individually.
I will post a list of choices and an e-mail address to send your billing and shipping information to, and you can call me, or I can call you for the payment info. I was unable to setup my new website in time so we'll have to do this manually. Thanks.

Steve,
Is there any change of getting the SCX gauges included in this group buy? The OEM gauges designed by the OP looked great when I first saw them. But now I find the final product kind of generic (no offense to Marshall Instruments) But if you look at it, the new gauges (boost) are made for mini's with the tach on the steering column. I have the chrono/dual gauges (speedo and tach) and I've noticed the needles on the tach are shorter. Plus I like the stepper/electric version. My only question is where does the signal wire hook up to?

Here's what I'm talking about. The picture above, the tach has longer needles (the lines above the 1,2,3 rpm etc) As where mine below has shorter needles.

Sorry for the dumb questions....What's the dif between the stepper and electric versions?
Do they come with install instructions (or if anyone can find a good, quick link for boost and water temp install it would be appreciated )

Stepper Motor vs Non Stepper Motor
Stepper motor movement is the best movement available. It is very responsive, accurate and rugged.
The sweep of the gauge is divided into a large number of "steps". A micro-controller (computer) precisely controls the position of the pointer by telling it which "step" to go to.
A non stepper motor movement typically uses some sort of magnet to move the pointer to its required position. These movements are still very good, just not as rugged as the stepper motor movement.

Now to figure out how to install them, then I think I will get the boost and water temp (stepper).
HE RUNS OFF TO DO SOME SEARCHING......
As promised here is a picture of the new gauges installed.

Here is a higher resolution image as well.

BTW - the face color is almost an exact match to the OEM gauges.
