Paul at Marshall says the next sample faces will arrive in the "next 3-5 business days." Anyone holding their breath should take one before they turn purple.

Thanks for the heads up

Of course I can't imagine the samples weighing much, if they go to round three, I'd be happy to pay the difference to get them overnighted instead

Hey Steve, any word on the non-Mini gauges that have stepper motors? I'm at the point where I need to buy these things now so I can finish putting my oil cooler setup together.

If they are still at least a month or so out, I'm just going to buy the old style and swap over at some later date.

I can't even guess at the time frame anymore. The SCX Pro stepper versions are available in oil pressure, water temp, volts and fuel level. They would have to be redialed in silver since they are only black now. Oil temp with steppers is still odd. Paul says they don't have anything in the 140-300F range, but that they have 100-260F but that they need dials. I will have to call him to clarify what that means.

Updated faces arriving at Marshall today. Hopefully, they will be correct this time and go to manufacturing.

That's great news, I'm getting really desperate for a real/physical boost gauge ! viewing live data w/ my scan-tool is very cumbersome !

Are the marshall gauges the same size as the gauge kit that MINI has on each side of the tach? That mount would resolve an issue for me with mounting of the gauges and another item by the tach.

Paul (Marshall) just sent me an email regarding the gauges. They are shooting to go to production starting 9/7.

Here is link to pictures of the gauges. Note they painted the center cap of the needle silver to match the factory gauges.

http://www.marshallinstruments.com/c...per_gauges.cfm

When I receive mine I will be taking some high resolution images of the new gauges installed.

Any update on final pricing?

Also, in looking at the pictures I noticed that the gauges are not labeled with their function as the other SCX gauges are, will this be done with the production units?

Looking forward to getting these installed before the next HPDE.

Cheers,
Tom
