Yo Astra,

What wheels are those? Are they the Gram Lights in White that I've been eyeing for my BRG?

Actually,,, NO door poppers were used..

the tension on the door when closed is enough for it to pop open when the bear claw that holds the door closed is unlatched...

I have some spring loaded poppers in a box, that i dont' need...

Not a huge fan of the doors; but the color is really nice!

I really like it. It's nice to see a custom car that is not a tacky nightmare. Very clean tasteful work. Great job

Thats awesome, I love seeing my projected wheels on other peoples cars, specially BRG's so I can judge how it'd look on mine. Where did you order them from? Tirerack.com just took that color off their website.

I spent some time with Astra at AMVIV looking over his car and listening to what went into it.

I can tell you that there are no words to describe the quality of this job.

The paint and stripes are immaculate and the detail that went into the engineering of the doors is unbelievable. To say that that the new door jams look as good as factory jams would be doing dis-service to the craftsman that worked on this car. If the factory turned out door jams that looked as good and smooth as these, they would be out of business in weeks.

I am from So-Cal near where Astra lives and I have seen his car many times in the past. It was always a clean looking well cared for MINI, but this is a different car, on a whole different level.

I have never posted about anyone's car, probably because I think mine is pretty cool, but it is not in the same league as Astra's car.

All I can say is "What a great job on your car"

Bill
