Carbon fiber engine bay dress up

I had a sheet of carbon fiber laying around and though i would play around a little bit. So i covered the DFIC diverter plate with it.
It's pretty subtle but i like it.
I thought about covering the top of the DFIC also.. but i dont know if it will look to overboard... i know it may not be the best idea for cooling.. but i'm not going to feel the difference in power just by putting the material over the IC. I dont track the car so i dont have to worry about heat soak.. its just for fun so hey why not..

anyway here is the diverter.

I know my car is a mess... but i havent had a chance to do the spring cleaning yet...

Not exactly a fail...

I have just came across it and that is not a bad idea

Too bad you didn't cover the whole piece(angled side plates) it would have tied the m7 part in better...not that it doesn't now...

Keep it up.

ha thanks, yes i was going to do the sides.. but i didnt want to have an edge of the cf on that rounded part. i added some black door trim around the front to clean it up a little, but it wouldnt stay going around the sides. but yeah it would look better.

and Yes i do need to clean it up. I have some more parts to install, so I'm going to take a day pretty soon and really get in there and clean it up. especially for the dragon.

I still have some material left.. i just dont know what else to do. i dont want it to be tacky though.
