Who has a Hamann Rear Diffuser on their car?

I've got one sitting in my garage awaiting install. I'm wondering if those of you that have one on your car like it? Does it "bottom out" alot? Do any of you have it on a car with a Magnaflow catback, if so, is the fitment okay?

It's horrible.....but just because I'm a nice guy, I'll take it off your hands.

I dont have one but I like them. Post some pictures when you get a chance, I would like to see the end result.

Thanks for the offer brigadoonb. Assuming your avatar is the color of your car it just wouldn't do. Afterall it's DS.

Anyone have one on their car that would like to share info??

I have the Ground Dynamics one .

It comes primed with NO brackets or instructions ...
The several I have done all needed some small filling and "clean-up"
I am going to post post some photos as I have been asked for them.

I am lowered and have never touched / scraped anything.

You will see in one of the photos that it really gets "sandblasted" on the leading lip... keep that in mind when painting it.

I have probably one of the very first Hamann rear diffusers to hit the US soil in 2003. The reason I say that is the mounting brackets were funky (probably still working the bugs out), lots of body work to get it to the paint phase & my diffuser doesn't have a flat plane across the rear underside of the rear bumper. My unit has a bow to it, which IMO actually works on my car. As far as bottoming out, I've only had two instances in 5 years of having having it on the car - one of which put a notch into the leading edge.

Your going to have to paint it. You can also get them here.

Richard posted a vendor announcement for these a while back. I got one and will put it on next week. I'm thinking of using a texture spray on it since it's going to get beat up.

It's not on my site because I haven't figured out how to ship them yet. They didn't come in boxes when I picked them up from the distributor--just a bunch of spoilers in plastic bags. So I've just been selling them to locals who can pick them up. I don't know if I'll be carrying them for much longer. I just wanted one for myself and for a few friends. You'll see Danny (Minicorsa) with one on his aero kit bumper, and Longboard on his and a few others around Los Angeles/OC.

Thanks for your input guys. I'm planning to have it installed when I take my car down to Illinois for the July 12 RMW tune event. Thanks for posting pics - your cars look great! I doubt it will serve much real purpose on my car, but, I sure do like the look. Afterall, I am a "more is better" girl.
