Need Assistance For A Dimension

If someone has the time, could you measure the "KNEE PROTECTION DRIVER'S SIDE, LEFT"; the dimension in red? Thanks for the help.

3.5 inches at the top where it meets the dash, 4 inches where you have the line drawn

Thanks. I want to mount an XM radio in this area and needed dimensions to help pick one. Looks like a Roady XT like I have for my Suburban and Jeep will fit this area. Thanks again!
