Never stole Webb's CAI as DDM sold it to us when Webb basically folded the business.... And the image is coyrighted so please pull of the image that you used improperly.

a) why is it the responsibility of a moderator to hand you a ladder to climb out of the hole you dug for yourself?
Everything was fine until the typical basher come in to make light of
absolutely nothing

b) perhaps if you stopped using the report button like you were a contestant on Jeopardy, your request might have a bit more weight
Hey don't you think the popcorn button is slightly overused, and I don't use it unless I see it necessary.

quite ironic, but it's the most accurate representation of your product's performance yet. sure, it looks damned good.....why the need to fluff any more than that? 99.9% of your demographic cares more for the looks of the thing than what it does for smoothing airflow or hi-speed stability.
Again it proves that no matter the product we put forward....

if you'd step back and re-read what I posted, it's not the product, but the approach. just a suggestion... step outside your role as M7 and think about the statement I made.

Your side of the story. And I didn't use the image, Sherlock. I just posted something I found on the net. Don't even know who did the work, but I do appreciate it. And I like the bold button. It makes things easier to read.

I asked earlier in the thread....can you point out WHERE he used a bad "approach" promoting this product? Jinky was unable to....

Surely you're not still stuck on the TITLE of a photo in an advertisement. Next... you're gonna be arguing with beer companies for their use of bikini clad chicks in their beer advertisements

Oh, so we are talking about subtleties? An innuendo is not a lie? I didn't steal it, someone else did. I just bought it later on the cheap.

Nobody ever said Peter is not slick. A little too slick, actually. His shtick is well practiced and polished to perfection. As a matter of fact, your example is perfect. His pretty products have about as much to do with real performance as the bikini chicks in the commercials have to do with the taste of the product they're promoting.

Hey, Peter, it's they're, not their.

I've posted this info already. Do I need to find it and quote myself?

Generally speaking, the beer companies that use wimmenz to promote their product are ones who can't sell on the merits of the products alone. Interesting allegory and thank you for bringing it up in an M7 thread

you've posted here, mini2.com and m|u using photos I took without my permission (even stealing my bandwidth) to promote your products. I asked nicely for you to remove them a year ago yet, even today, the links to my photo host are still in some of your posts. Reporting those posts is not the solution - try editing them.

I'm discouraged by the negative tone this post has taken and franklyits getting to the point I'm going to lock it until cooler heads prevail. Ill reopen if directed by a global moderator.

If having a life and being busy makes me spineless, well at least I have a life.

Locking this thread is probably for the best. I have removed the image so anyone who feels so inclined to read the thread won't see it.

The bashing and things I've seen in this thread have gone to a new community low.

With the thread being closed I will be reworking site guidelines and policies because of what I've seen here and on the rest of the site recently. In a nutshell it will be acceptable to provide negative feedback (as long as it is constructive) to members and vendors ONCE and then it will be time to move on. You can certainly debate but if it appears that your intent is to drive the thread off track, or to muddy the waters, or to continually stir the pot we'll be stepping in to rectify the situation.

First Responders
If you lash out at someone's snarky post you are part of the problem. Instead of being the first responder use the report post button () to get the attention of the mod team. Not following this will have you lumped into one of the following categories.

Haters
Continued harassment, like I've seen here, will constitute a form of stalking and will result in suspension of posting access for a week. If, when returning, the same behavior continues your account will be locked down permanently. I know people have their opinions and want to "warn" others to avoid what they may have experienced. If that is the case then post your review in the review system and move on.

Fanboys
The same policy will be applied if you continue singing the praises of your favorite vendor over and over and over and over like I've been seeing. Its time for the vendors to represent themselves...not their customers representing them. Again, put your review in the review system and move on.

Vendors
For vendors, if you react to someone's bait you are part of the problem. You should use the report post button () rather than responding to the bait. Not following this policy will result in your posting access removed for a week. The next case will result in your advertising suspended for a week. After that you're off the site.

Everyone will receive one warning from a moderator or admin before the steps outlined above will be taken and the problem posts removed from the thread.

NAM was intended to be a community gathering place...not a place for people to come and bash those they don't like or agree with. I'll be taking actions to insure that we get back to that original intent. If you don't feel like you can be a part of a civil and friendly community its time to looking for a new home on the Internet.
