im fairly neutral to M7 but i do see the ridiculousness of many of their product claims without any actual data to back them, heck i feel like they could market DEI:

and claim the butt dyno and tons of people would take it as truth.

Guys

I teach at a Jr. High School and I have met students that are more mature than you gentlemen.

The things you are saying about Peter are mean spirited.

The truth is- a bunch of members of this forum have been discussing a C-Wing for a long time. From what I can tell, Peter saw that people were looking for someone to make the C-Wing, so he made it happen. I would hate it if Peter decided that listening to his customers on the forums was a waste of time thanks to a few rude Mini drivers. Peter is one guy running a small business. Give him a break man!

This just occurred to me. The fact that suspect data will be scrutinized is now being used as an excuse to provide no data at all.

Wow, wow, wow.....GoalJunky does it again. Peter man's up & invents some more stuff & <wham> 32 hours & 59 minutes from 1st post to your constructive comment. Way to go, surprised your first post wasn't sooner. At least you're putting your time to constructive use & making motivational posters. Put the bottle down & think before you post. As a sidenote, I'm down for the rear diffuser for my R53.

I can't help it now...

overall, many car communities look down upon the Honda community because of the overall crappy products that get put out. The products get put out because companies don't focus on performance and they focus on making a dollar here, a dollar there. As a member of that community, it gets tough to sift through the crap.

To me, as a new member of the mini community, I'm realizing what companies I want to give my money to. Money lost to one company, is money gained to another.

These products look awesome, with no real data to prove functionality. Prove that they work, and maybe my money will float your way.

Ha? What? You seriously consider this regurgitation of ideas an invention? I am sure you've mistyped your idea. Perhaps it's not me that needs to stop hitting the bottle.

If your in Los Angles, look us up and I take you for a ride...
Just to prove what we have done, and you can see things like workmanship
and fitment of the panels.

The rest isn't really a sentence so it doesn't qualify for spellcheck.

I got to admit that it does look hot. The diffuser looks just like off the JCW Challenge car and the spoiler looks just like the one off the GP. As far as months of testing goes, I think it's more of months copying products off other cars and selling them.

Looks good though.

You said it yourself....they look good. That's proof that they're doing their primary job...working as an aesthetic mod . I'm willing to bet that for at least 90% of the people who buy and install this product....that will be the main use of the product because, as discussed, aerodynamics such as this don't come into play at public street speeds. It's just like the GP wing or the JCW spoiler .....most people don't use it for anything beyond looking good and no aerodynamic info was ever shared for them. There's nothing wrong with that

And for those interested in the track performance.....one need only wait for Bob's response once he gets it on his race-prepped MINI (as mentioned in the first post). He's a great guy...and I'm sure that if you're looking for a review on the aerodynamic qualities of the parts....he'd be more than happy to share his thoughts after using it in a few of his races. (I'm just assuming it's Bob's race car that was referenced....but it seems likely)

You are exactly half correct . The wing was done to closely resemble the Challenge wing which was what was requested by some of our present and now apparently future customers. The Diffuser was something we designed from the ground up.

I'll be anxiously awaiting. I like the look, but it's a little too big for my tastes if there's no functionality behind it. I hope it does actually give some good down force, it'd be nice for the occasional track day.

Now if you guys made a diffuser for the R53 without having to run a straight exhaust, then that would be great. I would not mind at all to have one of those.

This is a great point!(the part about customers who wanted to find someone out there in the world that offered a GP or MINI CHALLENGE wing fascimile.)Looks like it has arrived.(I guess for some,it's made by the wrong dude.)I have a feeling if it was the debut thread of another wings maker's product, the tone would be different. If the wing is made for the R53 and the price is right, cool.I'm interested in well made parts!(be they performance oriented or bling)The level of vitriol aimed at M7 seems almost redneck like??

I have ridden in the R56 with the rear diffusers and the C wing at speeds in the triple digits. The car is extremely stable and in turns feels as though it is on rails. Maybe some of loud mouth skeptics should take M7 up on their offer for a ride to see how these products work.
