Interior/Exterior M7 Challenge Wing and Diffuser "New"
The Diffuser system was developed for the JCW Aero kit, but with that said
the under-pinnings of the car is identical, allowing you to trim trim your rear valance to match the diffuser. Adding the system to an R53 is very similar
with the only difference being the hangers (simplified as the exhaust etc is in the way on the R53).

Sigh....
So what did you expect from a small MINI centric company to do, spend tens of thousands of dollars or more to satisfy a small number of customers that feels we need to do what GM or Ford would undertake.
Wind tunnel testing, rolling road wind tunnel testing, or maybe a full scale
CFD tested (we need a wireframe model) part Is way beyond what anyone in our possition would undertake as we are lucky to sell five hundred of these in the life span of the tooling.
These aerodynamic devices are well known through thousands of applications worldwide, with known effects to the dynamics of the
of the specific application.
And finally, if you read my opening text of this thread, I did mention that
we will be able to possibly test the car in a small wind tunnel soon.

Anyone concerned enough to really be concerned with a roof wing makes measureable downforce needs to be racing something more aerodynamic than a rounded brick.
I think your products are great whether for looks or functionality.

And a question about the pretty fast corner picture. With an F stop of 22 and shutter speed of 1/13 of a second how fast was it really? 10-15 mph? But then everybody always said Peter was a great photographer.
Ok smarty pants, we just figured out that your clever enough to use Photoshop....
Your intensions are simple, wreck havoc in any M7 thread, bad mouth me to the point of slander (on your site).
All your doing here is pulling up the tread to the top of the posting and I thank you for that, with a bad taste in my mouth.
You should be ashamed of your self...

P.S. It's "you're" clever enough. And intentions, not intensions.

I have to agree... I mean come on, I'm sure these products (ie. splitters, rear wings) make some measureable difference in performance but honestly, it's a box on wheels, don't most people put your stuff on for looks?
Anyone concerned enough to really be concerned with a roof wing makes measureable downforce needs to be racing something more aerodynamic than a rounded brick.

.
From a photographer and Photoshop king like yourself I will take that as a compliment.
I don't own any sites, so I ma not sure what you're talking about. You are welcome for the bump. As always, it's my pleasure. I am not going to speculate on what that taste in your mouth is.

I would hardly call the Mini a brick. Here is a quote from a "Motor Trend" test of the GP: A deep front chin, profiled rockers, and unsubtle rear wing together cut the drag coefficient from 0.39 to 0.35 and at the same time bring lift to zero at both axles, which means it gets to 149 mph and does it with greatly enhanced stability. So, these kind of parts do work. And BTW, a COD of .39 was supercar stuff 15 years ago
.
.I know about bricks. My other driver is an H2.
Thanks for the learnin'

Back to the original thread..... whether or not the wing works with or without downforce, it looks HOT.
Unfortunately, I don't have the HP to back up the looks so it wouldn't end up on my car.

I stand corrected, I didn't bother to look up coefficient numbers, that's pretty impressive. Do you think it's because the car is so small so though it's not much of a wind cutting design (as compared to a ferarri, corvette, lambo) it's just so tiny there's not enough surface area to make a difference?

I think because it's shaped like a "Turtle"
A "H2"
hate to be puttin gas in that
I look forward to seeing how these look on some other cars

M7 is selling GP replica parts now?
Correct! But not the way that you using it...the Cadillac Catera had a cd of .33 in the 90's. it's no supercar. Heck an '89 Vauxhall Calibra had a cd of 0.26. A '59 Lotus Elite has a cd of .29
Supercars generally do not have good numbers here. A Ferrari F50 has higher cd numbers than a normal MINI Cooper S. True Story.

Supercharged with 38's and 4.56 gears... running 85-88 mph on the highway... a whopping 7.8 mpg.
Might have it sold next week. Since I bought the mini, I have no desire to drive the brick.

I think I said these KIND of parts. With that many flaps, holes and wings I could see why the F50 is like that.
