I hope this is in the right forum...

I am considering (i.e. obsessing) about replacing my non-msw three spoke steering wheel with an alcantara jcw version (ahh). While I am pretty good about creating nice justifications for myself to purchase parts, this one is a biiiiit expensive. Does anyone have any guesses what my old (3500 miles) wheel could fetch on the used market? I have not seen one sold yet, but knowing the value would certainly aid in crafting a convincing argument (for myself...)

i think i saw one sell for around 100.

 

If it has a functional airbag in it it may be worth more than that.

 

unfortunately - you swap the airbag into the new wheel...

Atthat value I'd hold onto it and sell the JCW wheel seperatley when it's time to sell the car.
