Painted arches, extreme scoop, etc!!!

After a long anticipated wait...finally did the arches, grills, gas cap and M7 Extreme Scoop. Lyle hooked up the headlight rings and door handles...She was dirty but I didn't want to mess up a fresh paint job. The shop also broke the right headlight ring assembly (in pic) so had to replace that too

and I'm contemplating whether to sell or mount THESE PUPPIES! We're buying a house...

Sharp ... especially liking those painted arches.

And I'd mount those wheels in a heartbeat. Not only are they nice looking, they would be MILES easier to clean than those S-Heavies.

I understand the house thing....so that decision is obviously up to you, but those wheels would look REALLY good on there What size are they 17's or 18s?

Looks good. Now paint the wheels black, mount them and detail the car!

From the pictures, you tires look to be low on tread, so buy for the 18's and mount them.

Agree with everything said here... Never liked the S-wheels - my '06 had them and I couldn't WAIT to get them off in the winter (my All-seasons were on X-lites). I'm a big fan of the clean look of those 5-spoke "Star Mag" style wheel...

But a house comes first.

PS - Who did your bonnet stripes? They look a bit.. narrow. Sort of like the car's "squinting" at me.

Those wheels would look sick. Leave 'em silver and mount 'em!

Might be because of the bigger scoop...I bought it like that. I'm actually taking those off this weekend and possibly "re-shooting" the hood.

How much did it cost you to do the arches? And do you know the details on what process they used to paint them?

I don't know the whole process but i do know it consisted of sanding the trim, priming it, two coats of paint and clearcoat. I had the shop do everything (i.e. arches, gas cap, grills, scoop, install rings and handles) and it cost me $700 for all that. Plus, they owed me from previous work on my wife's car. So, I think I got a pretty good deal!
