It's been over a week with the new Whalen's shift **** in my MCS.
The weight of Whalen **** is about 500 g comparing with 182 g of stock ****.
I mean, it's really heavy when you compare with the stock one.
The feeling of shift would be a lot different and "Great" !!
Actually mine is polished and it's really good feeling when I hold it because its diameter is a little smaller than the stock.
It's so nice that I can't drive without it !!
I really recommend Whalen Shift Machine to those who are looking for something different from the stock one.

I also have the polished Whalen Shift Machine, it's a real classic look! I love it! It feels incredible everytime you put your hand on it. And it really does make a difference shifting. I agree with you Luthier, worth the money, great workmanship!

I would love more weight in my shift ****.. that's the only thing that I don't like about my custom pool ball ****.... it's acually lighter than the stock ****

I've really been wanting to share a pic of my **** (ha ha) with the world cause it came out so awesome, but I can't for the life of me take a pic without a ridiculous glare, no matter what I try to do for lighting. Any suggestions?

Howdy Whalen-groupies! [I wanna be one!]

Try shooting your Whalen-beauties through a thin, white T-shirt. You may have to experiment a few times, pulling/stretching, depending upon th et-shirts weight, but this usually works well.

Good luck, please post 'em when you've got 'em!

I'm definitely not much of a photographer, but I've given up on trying to get a decent picture of one of these things with a flash.
Now I get out my little table-top tripod, turn off the flash and do a long exposure.

Tough to do if the **** is installed, though!

Why don't you just park your car where there's tons of sunlight and turn the flash off your camera. The natural sunlight is all the light you'll need to take the picture.
