Driving lights on license area.

Was wondering if anyone put driving lights, where the stock license is originally put...

anyone have a better picture of something like this?
and maybe with 2 lights? hm... haha was thinking about doing this...

Not quite as much as the Outmotoring version, but here's another example of lights in that area. (the MINI on the left!)

It was in a local dealer and a bad battery charger left on over night caught it on fire.

On the R56, the area that you are talking about has the horizontal crash bar behind the bumper cover. You would weaken the integrety of the frontal crash safety system if you drilled into it in order to mount brackets to it. There is also a 1" gap between the cover and the bar. This is why the OEM brackets go through the upper grille and to the radiator mounts.

I have the mounts, and am waiting for a nice weeknd day for the installation. I seem to have a few parts stacking up ready to go...

I'll post pics and installation when I get the lights on, if that would help anyone.

Most of the mounts offered, like the out motoring ones - are no drill...
