Help with Top/Bottom Steering Wheel Housing Removal

I am installing the OEM bracket to mount the Garmin Nuvi and need to remove the steering wheel housing. I have unbolted the tach and removed the two screws at the rear of the lower housing.

Are there any other screws or do they just pull apart? I've tried with no luck.

Any help would really be appreciated so I can finish this install today. Thanks.

I was able to install the OEM Nuvi bracket without remove the steering wheel housing. For details, see this thread:

The uppoer and lower steering wheel housings are latched together with four tabs. You can see two of them when you remove the tach, but you can't reach them and I was not able to pull them apart. I did manage to get one of the four apart by looping a wire under it and pulling but that was not enough to separate the housings. Unless there is some special tool or trick, I don't know how you would remove these housings without breaking them.
