My "Scottish" Plaid armrests
Ok, it took me a while, but I finally got the fabric to do my Scottish arm rest mod. I got the idea from gr8stat who got some beige plaid fabric to cover his center armrest. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=128673
I wanted to do this but I could not locate the right fabric for my needs. I finally found the perfect fabric that had a green base with white and black stripes in a plaid pattern. I actually had to order it from a store in Scotland.
It was so worth it. I think it came out really well. Definitely looks good with a BRG/W car with English oak trim.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks everyone. The door armrests were pretty easy. They come off by pulling the top edge up and towards you, and then the bottom edges should just come off. Make sure you are just pulling the armrest piece and not the lighting wiring. Then I just cut the fabric to the right size, lined up the lines and attached the fabric with some tape. The armrests just click back into the door with tabs.
The toughest part was lining up the fabric and then cutting it to the right length. There's not a lot of room in there and it needs to be the right length to fit.
