That's really going to be very subjective depending on your tastes. What size wheels would you like to run? I'd recommend a 16 or 17" wheel for day-to-day use. Here's a few ideas.

I have stock 17s on at the moment, Im looking for either 18, 17 or 16. However Im not to sure what the ride would be like on 18s, I do mostly town driving, not much highway and I feel the bumps with my 17s. In relation to type and colour, nothing too blingy and chromed out. Does anyone have any personal experience or preferences from what they have?

I really like my BBS LMs but they're pricey, mine are color matched to my space blue paint with a polished lip, your black paint makes it a bit easier since there are already a lot of black wheels out there. I was also looking at the Konig Britelites (and still may get a set for track use). They're cheap, pretty light, and have an aluminum face with a black coating between the spokes. There's a thread specifically about them in the tire/wheel section that has some good pictures of them.

Edit: here's the thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=128169
And a pic (on a Miata):

If you "feel" the bumps now you probably don't want to go with 18'' wheels. I have them with 213/35/18 tires ( this size gets me back to stock total diameter ) They offer VERY little cushion.

I think these would be AWESOME!

I was going to get them for the 'Wikked One' before I decided to get 'Tang.'

Good Luck!
