Door Handles??

How hard is it to remove the door handles in the r56? I want to get my wrapped but I was told they are very hard an its a pain to remove them.

This is the only part left before I truly finish my "black out package".
I have read the same thing but I also just read that Mike at AC is doing something here... researching....

i have the door handles ordered for AC that adheres to the existing door handles. no need to remove the door handles (i heard you have to take the door panel of the doors and remove the glass to be able to remove the door handles).

>go here< to see the door handles, you will notice that there is a drop down menu where you can chose either gloss black, carbon fiber or primer.

wetceal bought the carbon fiber handles from AC.............<go here to see them on her car>

no problem!

just be aware there is about a 6 week waiting period for them, i know how it is to drive around with an almost blacked out MINI. i have everything but the door handles and beltline done and i can't wait to get them both blacked out.

I did mine this weekend. While it took 2.5 hours on the passenger door, it took only 45 minutes on the driver door. Well worth the effort. See for yourself.

What did you do, replace the handle or use the AC cover?

replaced the handle w/vinyl wrapped ones from Lyle.
