graci, definitely do the beltline kit. The first one is difficult but each strip gets easier to do. It took me about an hour to do but I'm slow and messed up a few times. I have 15% tint on the back 3 windows. I'm planning on doing the joey mod, maybe doing the door handles, changing to 17" black team Dynamic wheels with 225/45/17 tires and dropping it when I have extra $. Right now it has 16" wheels that dont have tire pressure sensors space. The new 17" wheels have the room for them. I may go 235's...

I have the Astro Black paint, but I am a tad skeptical about it. I think because it's a regular spray paint, not Fusion I think it would need a clear coat. I am still up in the air about how I'm going to do the Joey Mod. Anyone with spray paint knowledge? If it's in a sealed enviroment would I need to clear coat it? Thanks

Do you think one can is enough for two lights?

id get a couple of cans to be sure. i personally waste a lot of paint because of the distance i use for spraying. i tend to be in the 18" range and i use finer spraying tips so i get more tacking of the paint leading to more thin layers vs fewer thick layers.

Ok I have one more can on it's way. That will make two, and then the fun begins. I'm trying to get this done for AMVIV.

www.minspeed.net Under R56 Car Care! A tad pricey, but for a match in color I can't complain.

]I have an AB MINI with the Hypersport package, does anyone know where I can find a black grille surround kit to fit it?? I been looking, but cant find anywhere because I dont want to use vinyl at all. Thanks!

Check the first picture of my Gallery to see what I'm talking about.

The JCW fits my upper surround but not the lower.

Thanks!

Not sure if this one will work, but have you tried M7 Tuning? Good luck!

MiniGoneWild yes that is what I ordered. As for the grill surround, the M7 one posted above is actually for the grill itself. Try asking around to vendors. www.outmotoring.com is always very helpful with anything I need, just shoot him an e-mail and see what he says. I ordered my grill surround through him. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, I might just use that paint and paint the originals astro black. Nobody makes the grille surround for the Hypersport package yet, so for now I'll have to make due. Thanks for directing me though, much appreciated!

Holy moly. Was searching for blackout AB's and I found the motherlode. Wikedgolf: your car is crazy! Can you provide the details? Body kit parts (never seen that rear diffuser before but I LIKE IT!), suspension (springs/coilovers, manufacturer?), exhaust. Love it! (don't worry, I won't copy your car.....yet)

This is how he looks today:

New wheels, new brake, repainted the beltline, door handles, new hoodscoop, crowl vents, oo and refreashed about 90% of the cars paint. ooo and the rear CF harch too.
