03 - 06 Grills

Does anyone know if the 03 through 06 fronts grills are interchangeable? I' not so interested in the outer chrome frames, but the slat parts from the upper and bumper grills.

03 MCS or 03 MC?

the 03 MCS's had 3 slats which could be used in conjunction with your current surround. The 03 MC had 4 slats.....which means you would have to use the 03 MC surround on the top part (bottom grille doesnt matter).

As you may know, the pre-facelift surrounds were bumpy rather than the current smooth chrome surround.

Plus the "S" grill is a diff size from the JUSTACOOPER Grill due to the pitch on the hood.

If that is actually true....it still fits no problem. I have an 05 MCS grille on my 02 MC and the fit looks absolutely OEM.

Close up of the grille fitment.....no gaps or anything.

According to the dealer the MC and MCS grills are interchangeable for an 05. I'm trying to trade my 05 chrome slats part of the grill for a set of black ones. The person who wants to trade with me has on 03 MCS.

BTW, I now have an MCS hood on my MC.

03 MCS so you should be perfectly fine and could just use the black slats. His will have 3 slats and your current surround has 3 slats

Thanks, I like your grill setup, and how you put your stripes that far out. That's exactly what I want.

Do you have spacers on your wheels?

The standard S grill has a different part number for being body color (or primed). Chrome grills are the exactly the same part for both S and Cooper. In any case, all the grills are interchangeable.

Nope....they're just really wide and have really low offsets naturally.

15x8 et 14 in the front and 15x8.5 et9 in the rear.

Thanks for the compliment
