Hot Orange -- stripe color besides B/W?

I thinking about some Shelby stripes for my Hot Orange vert to replace the dealer white stripes. I've seen pics of white stripes, black stripes and chrome stripes. Anyone have pics of any other stripe color on HO besides white, black or chrome? Frost or silver, perhaps?

Silver would be best IMO...I have silver, but it's on black, so won't do you much good to see the pictures.

^ That would look sharp as Shelby stripes -- can you get that flat on a vinyl sticker though?

i think going with a darker orange would look cool, sorta like a ghost stripe, if you can find the right orange

I would talk to Aesthetic Creations. They do custom vinyl and they are not that badly priced. Very nice stuff at a competitive price. They are a vendor here on NAM.

What color is your canvas top? That should make the decision easier.

No, I'm a Cornhusker, but I'm color-blind and orange & bright blue always look good to me.

That would look awesome....and they do make matte/flat vinyl. It would match the arches nicely and stuff

Top is dark blue; interior is navy blue leather w/ orange stitching. Maybe I'll go with dark navy (almost black) stripes. The bright blue stripes might just push my LSU buddies over the edge.

Navy would look sharp since you have a blue top Maybe a chromeline edge would add a bit of definition too?

Now if the car was flat orange I'd say go with the Gulf colors for sure

Lee's "OB" (Orange Bullit) has 3M black flying checkers that reflect as white at night. You could also do prismatic vinyl.

The Gulf Porsches -- light blue with bright orange stripes -- were always one of my favorite liveries.

HO with the blue top... you don't really have too many options for colors, IMO. Any other colors mixed in and your MINI just might look like a "clown car".

Stick with dark blue or black but you can do some intersting stripes if you want to avoid the more common look... flying checkered stripes, viper, sport, or do something like putting your MINI's name on the stripes.

Browse the "show me your stripes" thread and some vendors websites for ideas.

I would find someone with good Photoshop skills and try some different colors.
On a side note, I would love to have my Mini painted this color. It reminds me of the Mclaren F1 LM.
