Interior/Exterior Post pics of your shift knobs
did not "find it", I worked with Doug Whalen from www.whalenshiftmachine.com and he helped me out on the design. It is now on the car and I love it. He can do anything custom for you if you are willing to work with him on the concepts, etc. Believe me, this one was well worth the wait.

2 things.
1) HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
and of course 2) " I hope it's not much bigger than a factory **** because I love the size and feel of the factory ball" .... thats ALSO what she said.
My MOMO Silver Combat
Sorry about the long shot. If anyone wants a closer look, let me know. I used my drill press to enlarge the MOMO collar and dremeled down the stock collar to allow the **** to sit as low or lower than the stock ****.
where'd you get the mini sunglasses case from? I stopped by my dealership and they said they haven't had them in a long time...
MINI Sunglasses
I got them new on eBay a couple of years ago and had perscription lenses put into the frames. Only wear them when I'm in the MINI. Ever so often you can find MINI sunglasses on eBay. Here's a link to several MINI style sunglasses: http://www.carpages.co.uk/mini/mini-...s-21-08-04.asp
So I wanted a custom Whalen **** with a UJ and "Blimey" in the KeepOnTruckin font that I used for my sill plates... that had been the plan for some time... but Doug decided to stop *knowingly* making ***** for autos, because his mechanism doesn't lock quite right with the auto lever's different dimensions, and because of the potential liability factor in eliminating the locking button on the auto **** (even though it really doesn't do much on an electronically shifted tranny). I'm NOT blaming or bashing Doug - he is DA MAN! And I'm delighted that he's continuing to innovate for us. Great stuff!
Anyway, this kinda left me in a quandry on what to do to coordinate with my whole UJ / polished / chrome trim theme. The stock **** just wasn't the answer:

Recently, I had come across some badges / decals at MotorSwag.com that just “fit” Blimey’s theme and character somehow:

I put a one of these on my badge holder and my boot, and love’em. So then I got this evil, rebellious, (great? stupid? insane?) idea, and ended up with this:

Wife hates it. I love it. That means it stays. Until she gets in the car. Then I have to put the stock **** back on.

And it was about $135 cheaper than the Whalen I woulda bought... which means mo money for other mods.

My new Whalen ****
A *cough* friend *cough* at work, who I recently found a MINI for, bought me this as an early Christmas gift and I assume a thank you for helping him get into a MINI (Doc, the new owner of the NUFF MINI).
It's a LIVESTRONG ball from Doug. I had been considering buying one for a long time (I was diagnosed with and went through surgery and radiation treatment for testicular cancer early in 2007). It says LIVESTRONG across the top and 1 Ball on the bottom.
Kind of a thanks and F you in one. No subtlety here... my new shifter is the one ball
.
Thanks Doug and Doc!

And to continue the theme of cancer awareness I'll say this, "Men, guys, boys… I ask of you this... think of me, go find a quiet place, and (cough) check under the hood
."

nice ****...my dad was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer and this past weekend did a bike ride in arizona of 111 miles in about 7 and a half hours..he raised over $21,000 for a research fund for his cancer. its a really good thing to see all these people donating money and raising money for cancer.
sorry to hear about the cancer, but sweet ****!

They never were on his website. Just PM Doug. I'm pretty sure he still has them.
I believe it is a new design. He probably just hasn't gotten them up on the site. I think he was making them in black Delrin as well.
