I'm slowly but surely blacking out my 06 Cabrio... started with the front grille in vinyl and then moved to the side markers, tail lights (Lamin-X film), side-marker lamps (blackout spray), black roll bar covers, mirror caps and now the beltline... Even my driving lamps are black. I'll leave a few chrome accents just for contrast...

I'm 39, so I ALMOST count...

Where did you live in Kansas ?

Granted, some parts of the state are.... ummm.... remote. But I lived in Wichita (twice) and thought it was a fine city. Not too big, not too small. Lots of stuff to do. Crime rate not bad (as long as you stayed away from the North Central area), and easy to ride a bike because there are no hills .

You know what they say about "almost", Matt. Sorry, but you help prove my point.

By the way, even though I dislike black-out, you still have one of my favorite MINIs.

Yeah - one more year, and Matt's gonna put all that chrome back on, rip out all the !@#$ blue lights, start wearing seersucker, and pull his waistband up just below his nipples.

Nostrablimey foretells it...

I bet he's already planning his trips to LL Bean and Chrome-R-Us.

Won't be a tough transition for him. He still has chrome hinges, headrests, door handles, boot handle, and headlight surrounds.

Um.... dude. I'm the one that suggested that you make domed "S" inserts and I got mine from you in red. Then you used one of my images in your marketing:

But if you want to send me another set as a thank-you, I'll check them out.
