So they are electroluminescent badges? How very, very odd. Looks like you'd plumb the wiring thru the stock mounting pin holes of the badge. Might look fun on an Indi or Electric Blue, or maybe white with Lapis interior.

Sort of like illuminated Honda or Acura badges...

$100 plus shipping from Japan? No thanks.
I think they look cheap!
Has anyone ever seen these on a BMW or Mercedes, or anthing besides a Honda?

If you look at the sellers' other items on ebay, he has the BMW badge / propeller as well. Utterly fascinating. I'm a sucker for blue backlit things - digtial watch, micro stereo, camera top deck LCD's, even those blue nightlights. But I don't know if this does it for me - it wouldn't look right on my IB/W anyhow...

Interesting, but seems to be quit expensive. While the blue is nice, its kind of limiting, wouldn't look good on a red car!

I don't know about this. Doesn't seem to be any good pix on the site of it. They look more like a graphic rendering of it, rather than the real mccoy, per se.

With it this easy to install :
3 EASY STEPS TO INSTALL:
1.Replace the emblem of your car.
2.Connect the adapter's RED wire to constant "positive", and the white wire to ground "negative".
3.Connect the wires from the emblem to the adapter's wires (black).
How can you go wrong?

When I read this, I wondered "positive" and "negative" what? There's no battery under the hood of an MCS, and I'd personally be pretty cautious about rooting around under there looking for places to stick or splice wires. Sure, it can technically be done...but probably not particularly well or particularly safely by the target market for this product. The whole thing reminds me of lots of the stuff sold in the old JC Whitney catalog. Always sounded neat, looked a bit cheap, and came with totally mysterious instructions.

As I know the emblem should be connected to the front or rear lights or the brake lights. I think I'll have mine connected to the brake lights.

I had Ford Blue emblems like these on the front and rear of my F-150. The "adapter" must stay DRY--if it gets wet it will affect the badge negatively and you'll have to replace the unit.
I had them hooked up to the vehicle lights so that they only came on at night...couldn't see 'em in the daylight anyway. They sure did grab attention and looked really good at night. But, they were under $50 each in the JC Whitney catalog...someone is trying to jump on the MINI gouge 'em wagon

Need some wheel spinners to go w/ that. And those multi-colored flashing LED air valve covers. Top it off w/ glowing neon surround piping on the interior, and it's time to audition for 3Fast3Furious.

The Emblem is just double stick taped with 2 posts that fit into the two holes in the hood.
Use a hair dryer and some warm soapy water mixed with a little rubbing alchohol
Good Luck and post pics!

They would look great with a big wing, altezza's and some of those wheels with the spinning centers!

It doesnt look too bad, is your mini black or BRG?

I see you have the window washer lights, in the great state of CA all that neon would be illegal. And I have the fix-it tickets to prove it!

Hey, although those pics are like the crappiest quality ever, the neon badge looks pretty cool. Can someone take a real pic of this?
