I recently got word that Lyle of VinylStyles would be passing thru my town (Vegas) for possible Vinyl installs.My local mini club(SCMC),via AGRO sent emails to alert interested parties of his arrival.I have been scheming for months about how to make my car stand out amongst a sea of green Minis.I had a vision(inspiration) after seeing this year's 24 hrs of Le Mans(Aston Martin team color scheme).After talking with him on the phone about what was possible to do in 2 or 3 hrs,Lyle prepped for our install time.We met at Palace Station parking garage(YES site of AMVIV,cuz I can when I want)to do this thang.He wrapped the grill surround in Chili Red and the headlight surround and chrome beltline in satin black.Lyle is a talented master of his craft.I think the job speaks for itself.One of a kind!If you some vinyl he is the man for the job thanks Lagston!

Glad that someone made it to welcome Lyle, and got some VERY nice looking work done.
He did my door handles which I've been meaning to post for months.
Which I will post as soon as I find where I put them.

My dad used to have a BRG 1959 Vette and his tires had a red pinstripe. What do you think that would look like on your car? (the red grill reminded me)

I think you need to echo the red somewhere else on the car. Red on the wheel rims would look good. Red mirrors, or red on the windshield whipers, or a red racing stripe...

My wheels have small bits of red,my 2 grill badges have red,red on union jack plate holder in rear.I have 2 red S's on the side grills-HAHA .

Seriously,I'm planning my next move-could be roof graphic or mirrors,maybe an anthracite stripe red edges.
(though I do think some JCW carbon fiber mirrors may be choice)
I may send Lyle an idea for a custom vinyl sticker.
Must not go to the darkside with over accessorization.

 

Very nice color scheme! "Retro" is a good word for it! I like the idea of the stripe with the red accent line. Good job to all concerned.
