Magnetic bonnet stripes? (Black and Chrome??)

Anyone know of a place to get bonnet stripes that looks like this (Black with a Chrome edge) for the R56, in MAGNETIC?? I don't want them permanent, just to throw on for fun once in a while. Who carries Magnetic stripes for R56 ayway, only found 1 or 2 places by searching.must be more, no?

They'll mark your paint if you leave them on.

Mike at Aesthetic Creations can make literally ANYTHING you want in magnetic - my first set of Blimey stripes (blue with red and white pins) were mag - I liked them so much, Mike made me a permanent, clearbra'd pair that I installed last week.

For short stretches, the mag stripes are fine as long as you wax both the car and the back of the stipes, and you make sure both are METICULOUSLY clean every time you apply them. And you remove them whenever it rains...

The website doesn't say anything about Magnetic, it all says "Vinyl". ??

Email (or better yet, call) Mike and ask- he can hook you up. He's not a seller of stock stripes - almost everything he does is custom, made to order. But he can make any style of stripe you see on the site, or anything else you might want, in magnetic.

I don't think a roof stripe is necessary.

I think you have to be extremely careful with magnetic to keep from scratching your paint. Any bit of dust between the stripe and body will act as sandpaper as the car vibrates.

Vinyl can be removed with a hairdryer (or so I'm told). So, when you get bored with it, you can go with something else.

Few people use them because it is difficult to keep them from scratching the paint.
