Interior/Exterior Red Brake Shoes
Counterfeit JCWs....almost as bad as the kid with the MINI who did the counterfeit Brembos (stock shoes painted red with Brembo decals) and was brave enough to post pics here in NAM

YES.. there is a JCW red caliper and rotor set for the R56 worth around $1,360.00 MSRP Part No: 34 11 0 420 903
But the R56 has the same brakes as the R53 JCW MINI.
OR you can get the slotted drilled rotors from the JCW R53 and they fit as OEM on the regular R56 and '06 GP models.
The rotors made for BMW are softer material thus the great brake feel on our MINIS out of the box and thats why we have to have "simple green" at hand everytime we wash the MINI.

If you like to spend the cash, but the stock R56 brakes are basically the same as the R53 16 inch JCW brake kit that came on the GP.
I would paint them red and get the JCW rotors, which are OEM compound.

You brake look hot like this one too! With super likey brake pad upgrade! Make even rusty brake stop like racecar!
You guys...
are harsh, even a little funny.
.
Dubaian, since the R56 brakes are the R53 JCW per the above posts, get some caliper paint in red and go for it. If you want more stopping power, get rotors noted in the above posts.
I would not put on works or brembo stickers (fake is fake), to many cynics around here, but they mean well, I think...
If you have a lot of $$$, go for the real thing, the JCW for the R56 when it becomes available.
Let us know what you do for big brakes, I think my R56 stops very well asis.
