I love showing off my cool stripes. They're reflective - they show up white in sunlight, and kind of glow at night with headlights/flashes/etc. A friend of mine liked them so much, she wanted the same stripes done in black reflective for her CR/B.

Nice stripes...how wide are they?

 

I searched quite a bit, but admit I did not see every picture of stripes on NAM. I havent seen stripes like the ones I did though. I think it came out well. I used the washer sprayers and the contour of the bonnet in my decision.









And here are a couple of the roof, which I think came out pretty cool.

sorry, i never took an actual measurement and have since removed them.

i told the installer the insides should touch the mini emblem and the outsides should hit the edge of the scoop...


@ big-cat, i like that alot. i would have blacked the scoop as well, but it looks pretty cool.

thanks! i loved the pure silver roof and body but i wanted to put a stripe break it up a little so i went to a local pepboys and found this tri-color roll of silver, graphite and black. i just put 2 stripes back to back and reversed it for the sunroof.

I have a 2005 MC Cabrio in Cool Blue. She came with white bonnet stripes but I wanted to accent her in orange since Cool Blue and Hot Orange were the special Cabrio colors of 2005 & 2006. I took off the factory bonnet stripes and put on my own bonnet stripes, boot stripes, and door cup decals by AC. But the color orange that AC stocks is a safety cone orange...does not look good with Cool Blue so I got some additional decals by Aloha Stickers so that I could get a hot orange color on there too.







I think it looks pretty great in person and it helps me get through the cold, New York winter.

Here's mine....flat black. I was going to go with blue and black, like the original colours,
but couldn't find a blue that matched the roof, so the installer talked me into just the black..
..I think I like it better
