Interior/Exterior Can we start an official SHOW ME YOUR STRIPES thread?

When I'm done, I'll post a pic in this thread too just to show I'm not thread-biased.

You're probably confused, and rightfully so, because there's another, larger thread on the board about showing your stripes. I believe it's called "Show Us Your Stripes" but I don't have time to search for it right now because it's MINI WASHING TIME !!

Thanks, that looks good. So I guess you answered by next question: the Mini logo is attached with an adhesive only and no prongs into the hood like some emblems.

Thanks! I ordered them from AC after seeing your stripes here on NAM!
It really gives the car a lot more character. For the few days we had it w/o stripes, we kept saying: "Needs stripes. Needs stripes. Needs stripes. ..."
I'm planning on taking some better bright daylight pics, soon - these were shot in late afternoon/twilight and they just don't "pop".

I had a local tint & graphics dealer do the install. It's common to just leave the stripes off the scoop, but w/o any prompting on my part, this guy decided to cover the scoop, and was pretty proud of his work. He cut the stripe at the front edge of the top of the scoop, and stretched it a little to cover the upper edge and inside the lower area of the scoop. He really did a fantastic job. I would've botched it for sure.

The sport stripes do only cover the hood and boot. I had to have them order 2 sets of the black stripes for them to go all the way down the car. They sell a set for the body and one for the roof as well. If you want them to go all the way down the car, be sure to have them order 2 sets of black, otherwise you'll end up waiting another 2 weeks to have the stripes finished like I did!

where did you buy your stripes from? im thinking that they wont have laser blue roof stripes but im fine with just having the white stripes that go all the way down...
Should i just order the sport stripes for the bonnet and boot then the roof stripes in white to finish the stripes on the bumpers?

That's with only 1 set of sport stripes. Two sets and it will look like this:
I hope that answers your question!
