Interior/Exterior Can we start an official SHOW ME YOUR STRIPES thread?
...thanks guys.
..got from here: http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/
..its a good deal, but again...I had to cut myself, I even asked them if they would cut...but is not a service they offer.
..very good service though, answered my email promptly (on the weekend) and quick turnaround time!
I just wish I'd ordered more...so I could cover my boot handle too! ..gonna order some more.

Did you used to have a front license plate bracket in the center of the front bumper? Or maybe a better way to ask my question is, is that a "plug" for the center license plate bracket? I'm asking because I'd like to move my front plate to the front tow hook but I don't want to remove the bracket if it's going to leave holes in my bumper.
Thank!
Thank!
Well, this has been a popular thread over the past four years. I would be interested to see what the OP ended up deciding on. Not sure how to search for such a thing in the forum.
Anyway, here are my stripes (pardon the dirt!). The previous owner had it done so I can't take credit but I do really like the color combination and the asymmetrical design. It works well with the red-line interior. I do however think that the side view is rather plain so I am looking to do something but I don't want to over-do it. Any suggestions?

That looks amazing!!!
Is the checkered stripe on the bottom separate from the circular 8 decal or is that all one piece? I'm interested in doing that to my Pepper White Cooper S R56. Thanks!

That's very cool! What shop did this for you?
A little shop called http://wetintcars.com here in Indiana. The guy ordered the vinyl, cut it, and applied it plus tinted the windows for $700 total. The vinyl can be waxed and buffed, and it looks like it's part of the car. I just showed him a photo of one I liked and he took it from there. FYI, the wide stripe is 10 inches and the thin one is 1/2 inch. Thanks for the compliment! I think the car is much faster now...
Very nice, just sent them an inquire. Is this easily removable?
Madmaxxed...I love the gray mini. Also dig the reverse numbers...any meaning to them? We almost got a number 36 on ours.
Anyways, here's what Lyle @ vinylstyles.com did for us. He actually has a couple pics of ours on his web site. Great guy to work with

There is some meaning behind the #s with the wife and I. We have been happy with the vinyl work so far. There were a few hiccups in the process but they seem to have worked out. I wish I had gone with my gut and went with another vinyl company. The side stripes on our cars have shrunk some, leaving a sticky residue along the edges. It's really only noticeable up close but it drives me nuts.
