I noticed the description mentioned direct swap, since you need to get everything under the roof coded, is there any coding to be done after install?

No coding, you just have to make sure you disconnect the battery before install as you have to remove the airbag to get to that large install bolt. This is to make sure you dont get an airbag light. Just like on the gen 2 MINIs.

Thanks, this is something that will possibley be offered in the future. For now we have the leather options. If they we do then you know where you would hear it.

 

 

Possible in the future. Right now they are all in one and a great deal as most aftermarket ones I have seen don't even come with the pads or are separate and more money. We tested these on cars and are like OEM+. Very high quality.

 

So just to confirm, you are saying if i bought the wheel, I can't remove those buttons and use the buttons that originally came with my car? I'm asking because I have the MINI Yours steering wheel and I prefer the piano black buttons.

Wasn't sure if when you say all-in-one means you have to buy the wheel including the buttons but they can be removed, or you are saying that they are permanently affixed. Would definitely buy if I can use my OEM buttons.

Or let us know if you guys ever plan to do the whole wheel in Piano black; I'll be the first in line to buy!

 

Yes you can swap in the paino black ones with the carbon fiber fronts or just use the piano black ones complete, this is a modified OEM wheel.
