So, just did my supercharger yesterday, things I replaced were: S/C with 16%(was stock), new belt, inlet/outlet gaskets, water pump/small hose, flange, cps o-ring, oil tube o-ring, detroit tuned bypass valve, silicone hoses, took out a/c and replaced with dummy pulley, put in short throw shifter, oil change, spark plugs (1 colder for smaller pulley), WMW wires. Think that's it. After the job EML was on, let it run for a bit then cut it off, when I turned it back on the light was off. Took it for a drive and it drove great , parked it and let it sit, no issues. On the way home from my friends shop the CEL popped on with the EML, great . Pulled the code when I got to work but it's not that good of a scanner, so all I got was the manufacturers specific error, selected BMW cause there wasn't an option for MINI, and I got P1498. Assume it's a boost leak but does anyone have a good idea where it's from that would cause both of those lights? Any help would be fantastic! Thanks guys.

EDIT: Also, has a rough idle for first 5 mins of starting, even if engine is already warmed up.

 

Found out it's my map sensor, somehow it got broken when doing the job (probably when I was swapping out the coolant hoses ). Question is, do I have to go back into service mode? Or can I change it (and the air hose that goes into the air intake duct for the supercharger) or is it possible to get it changed without? Haven't had time cause of work to actually look at it all. Thanks!
