Here is a video to show just how easy this install is to complete.
I would not pay somebody to do this.

I sure wish I don't mess up! Whenever I'm washing an M car or my mini the scuttles sometimes shift and pop off when I'm washing the car :P I'm just glad people don't go around stealing scuttles!

thanks for the DIY!

Can't take them off with the hood closed unless they break the clips prying them off...had to open my hood to get them off.

Nope - it is not you it is gone -- poster must have removed the video.

But the procedure is:
Push gently in -- then push forward -- the scuttle will pop loose (it is easier with the hood open as you can watch the process).

Glad I found this and thanks. Gonna order mirror caps, door handles, and skuttles with the black union jack. Outmotoring is currently out of stock on the skuttles so I'll wait a little longer.
Looks pretty easy. I tried before but I guess I didn't apply enough pressure. Afraid I was going to break something.

Don't you just love finding the thread of exactly what your looking for only to find that the links no longer work. Then as you frantically scroll looking for hyperlinks or inserts you find a 3 second video the shows how easy it is, hahahaha.

Note to self: Try not to spend 30 minutes looking for something that takes 3 seconds.

Thanks for the video.

Cheers

From all the excellent info out here I've changed my mirror caps, skuttles, and installed my door handle covers all in less than an hour including making the comfort access holes in the door handle covers.
Sure makes things easy.
Thanks to everyone that gave instructions.
